What was done
Reconstruction of the building management system, reconstruction of the ventilation system, installation of air mini-cooling systems, replacement of cooling equipment.
Description of the building
Swedbank Central Building is a high-rise office building with 27 floors above ground and 2 underground levels, with a total height of 120.8 metres, making it the second tallest building in Riga andLatvia. The functional layout of the floors is based on a layout with a central core in the middle and working spaces around it. This solution offers excellent views of the Old Town. In terms of the compositional structure of the building, the tower part uses two façade construction solutions with an accentuated horizontal division – floor-to-ceiling glazing in the sloping height façade part, and a glazed façade system in the cylindrical part of the tower.

Tailored BMS systems that incorporate climate control, including automatic adjustment of climate zone control according to the intensity and direction of the sun’s rays.

Description of the building
Located opposite the famous LatvianNational Opera House and next to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Riga, the hotel offers a whole new level of comfort and elegance. Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga consists of 141 high-end rooms, two restaurants and bars, six meeting rooms, and a world-class spa and relaxation area.

IKEA

What was done
Installation of a building management system in a new building.
Description of the building
IKEA Latvia is the largest store in the BalticStates, covering 34 500 square metres. The IKEA store includes a 450-seat restaurant, a bistro and a Swedish grocery store. IKEA cares about everyone being safe at home, so this was an important consideration when designing the building systems.
Challenges
Installing tailored BMS systems that include climate and lighting control according to IKEA guidelines on a common data platform with fire safety and security systems (SIEMENS). The project involved specific and detailed scheduling of the works and high discipline in meeting deadlines.
